The Management Principals:

Joel A. Asen (57) has over 15 years of asset-backed private equity management experience as part of over 25 years of capital market investment and advisory experience. Along with E. Wynn Plaut, he has managed private investment portfolios that have a current valuation of over $200 million. Mr. Asen has over 30 years of experience in process and manufacturing industries, as well as over 20 years of financial services industry experience in investment banking and asset-backed finance. He was a manager of business development, responsible for strategic and operating oversight, at both General Electric Capital Corporation and its parent, the General Electric Corporation. Mr. Asen was Senior Vice President of Treasury and Business Development at GAF Corporation where he was responsible for raising bank and high yield capital commitments of over $7 billion for potential acquisitions and over $500 million in long-term high-yield debt. He also served as a Managing Director at Drexel, Burnham, Lambert and at Paine Webber. Since then he has served as a strategic, operating and financial advisor to a number of investment management firms and multi-national corporations. He has an MBA in finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BS degree in accounting from SUNY Albany.

Edward W. (Wynn) Plaut (55) has 30 years of investment experience. Along with Joel Asen, he has managed private investment portfolios of asset-backed investments that have a current valuation of over $200 million. Mr. Plaut began his career at General Electric Corporation and General Electric Capital Corporation, where he was responsible for investments in leases and loans across a wide variety of businesses and asset types, with a focus on aircraft and real estate. Thereafter, Mr. Plaut was a Vice President of Oxford Financial Group where he was responsible for originating real estate investments and corporate acquisitions. Since then, Mr. Plaut has been owner and President of Relco Inc., a privately owned investment and consulting firm in Stamford, CT which, in addition, to the investment portfolio activities described above, was responsible for initiating, structuring and negotiating over $3.2 billion in sale-leaseback transactions. Mr. Plaut and affiliated entities have also invested in remainder interests in land. He has a BA from Clark University and an MBA in finance and business economics from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business, Beta Gamma Sigma.
