PLASE Capital Group, LP is a private investment company being sponsored by the management principals, Joel A. Asen and E. Wynn Plaut, in association with Apollo Management, L.P. The principals have developed a successful investment discipline which has generated very attractive returns over the past 15 years. This investment approach, together with the resources available from Apollo, has been utilized by PLASE to acquire a portfolio of investments which will provide excellent risk-adjusted returns on investment.

PLASE has developed this portfolio which has invested in opportunistic situations involving physical assets which are believed to have strong intrinsic value, regardless of the macroeconomic environment, and which are core business assets of the operator. Therefore, this approach provides significant downside protection. Downside risk is also mitigated by selecting assets which have strong marketability or are otherwise adaptable for use by other operators. Mr. Asen and Mr. Plaut have been able to generate excellent returns by identifying assets with strong residual values which may not be fully considered or appreciated by other transaction parties, and by accommodating the business goals of other transaction parties through flexible and creative transaction structures.
